Osteopathy
The uniqueness of osteopathy lies in its holistic approach to healthcare. Unlike many other medical practices that focus primarily on treating specific symptoms or conditions, osteopathy takes a whole-body perspective, emphasising the interconnectedness of the body's systems. I work closely with each patient who comes into my room, dedicating my full attention to your individual health and wellness goals.
During your initial consultation, I take the time to gather a thorough history, listen carefully to your concerns, assess your body’s needs, and use hands-on techniques to improve your quality of life. I believe that multiple factors may contribute to your symptoms, so I evaluate not only the area causing discomfort but also other related areas that may be involved. This includes considering past trauma, environmental factors, and your family’s health history.
My treatment approach is gentle, relaxing, and tailored to each individual. I use a bespoke combination of methods based on each patient's needs. Initially, I often treat patients on a weekly basis, as the body requires time to adjust and for tissues to heal. Once you begin to feel better, most patients continue to check in as needed when issues arise. I apply the same thoughtful and personalised care to each condition.
