Motoko Nagasaki, Registered Osteopath in London and Hertfordshire
I work with adults, children and babies, pregnant and post-natal mothers to transform their lives by addressing the pain that holds them back from feeling truly comfortable, energised and fulfilled day-to-day.
Having over 15 years’ experience as a complementary therapist before training in Osteopathy, I have long believed that the only approach to one’s health is a holistic one. By exploring physical, biological, nutritional, emotional and other lifestyle factors, I have been able to provide much-needed relief and a renewed sense of well-being to many experiencing pain and discomfort.
As a mother of two, I have a special interest in treating pregnant mothers (pre- and post-partum), babies, children and teenagers. In even the smoothest of cases, Pregnancy brings significant changes to a woman’s body. Through gentle osteopathic techniques, I work to alleviate strain on the bones, muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues, restoring balance and proper function to areas such as the pelvis, low back/spine, hips, neck, and upper back. This care can also support babies, providing relaxation and comfort.
In addition to Classical Osteopathy, I have a special interest in Cranial and Visceral Osteopathy. The former involves gentle manipulation to the head, spine, and sacrum, and is safe for everyone including Osteopathic patients range from babies/children to older people to pregnant women. Visceral Osteopathy focuses on the body's internal organs and helps relieve imbalances in these areas, promoting overall wellness. Gut health can have a deep impact on mood, sleep and digestion and I have found that Visceral Osteopathy can be very effective at addressing this.
“I am committed to patient-centered care and take pride in helping patients achieve both physical and emotional well-being through a holistic approach.”
